All social distancing measures in Korea are to be lifted as of April 18th excluding mask mandates. Since March 2020, Korea has practiced regulated social distancing measure due to the ongoing pandemic.
The rules have varied and changed based on the severity of Covid-19 cases within the country.
The last rules prior to the lifting of the measures was a business curfew of midnight and all private gatherings to have no more than 10 people.
From now on, businesses will no longer have any curfew mandates and there will be no more maximums on private gatherings.
Starting April 25th, visitors will be allowed once again to eat and drink in movie theaters and at gyms.
The goal of lifting the rules is to have the country return to a state of normalcy.
Indoor and outdoor mask mandates are to remain in place however, the government has said that they will revisit outside mask mandates in two more weeks.
